Born on a coast whose name she rarely mentions, the artist grew up cataloguing light: the particular amber of late afternoons, fog that diffuses colour into something wordless.
After studying fine art in Amsterdam and printmaking in Kyoto, she returned with a commitment to slowness. The work has been collected across four continents.
